I have a 2 year old female Great Dane named Gypsy. She was purchased for my breeding program but due to her size and a slight temperament concern I’ve decided not to use her. She is sweet.. big lover.. however she did bark at a small child she had never met. She had been raised around children but it was a red flag to me. I ask that you not consider her if you have small children. She has never been around cats but I get the feeling she would give chase. She has been around other dogs but I prefer her to go to a home that has no other pets. I don’t want her bounced around like a foster if the others dont get along with her. She is playful and loving with every adult she’s ever met. She is up to date on shots, has had her stomach tacked and is AKC registered. She is still however unaltered. I ask that whom ever gives her a home have her fixed. She does have chicken allergies and does fine on Purina pro plan salmon and rice. She has been allowed on beds and couches. She opens doors by herself. (Doesn’t close them) She’s healthy. She steals food off the counter if not supervised closely. She is fully housebroken and does not destroy furniture, doesn’t eat shoes. We are able to leave her unsupervised in the home while working. (Provided the garbage can is empty or locked and there is no food on the counter. Please text me your situation as I intend on being somewhat picky about the home she goes to. We have had her since 8 weeks old Papers will not be given until after proof of spaying. (I prefer text,, I’m selling my home and relocating in July once my puppies are with their new homes and can’t always get to my phone for calls) FYI I do not have any available puppies. This post is for the sole purpose of finding a suitable forever home for our Gypsy girl.
