PART TIME WORK! Looking for someone to help out with my horses for about 15 to 20 hours per week - starting @ 6 or 6:30 am in the summer and 7to7:30 in the fall/winter. Days can be flexible but looking for 3 days per week to hopefully include Saturday. Located on the NW side of Tucson, approximately 15 to 20 minutes west of Ina/I-10 (depending on traffic) so keep that in mind for travel distance to and from. looking for: Someone who has verifiable experience working with and around horses and most important reliable and trustworthy. Duties: morning feeding, Exercise horses to include walking, basic round pen work, light riding on the property weather permitting. grooming is paramount in the summer so must have grooming experience. Most of my horses are elderly rescues therefore the exercise will be light; however, someone will still need to have at least intermediate to advanced riding skill level. THIS IS OUTSIDE WORK IN THE ELEMENTS, heat in the summer so we start early, and cold in the winter, rain, mud, etc., and can be labor intensive. Rest of the time pretty mild.
