A traditional Spanish gathering with great wines, tapas, and friends! What is a "txoko"? Pronounced cho-co, they are groups of friends and families who enjoy cooking and sharing good food and drinks. They go all the way back to the mid-1800's, when groups of friends in the Basque Country of Spain would gather to eat, chat and sing regularly. They later evolved into Basque Gastronomic Societies and have played a big part in helping to keep local food, recipes and traditions alive. Join us for a wonderful evening filled with great wines, tapas, and friends, where you'll be immersed into the Spanish culture! Learn how to make some delicious pintxos (tapas) with a hands on tutorial, then enjoy your creations with the perfect wine pairings.
