The 6th Annual Mental Health Symposium - “Brake the Stigma: A Mental Health Awareness Car Show.” The 6th Annual Mental Health Symposium will be held on September 11th, 2021 as “Brake the Stigma: A Mental Health Awareness Car Show.” The show will be held at the Tanger Outlets in Pooler, Georgia, in the parking lot across from Vaden Chevrolet. Vehicles may begin arriving at 9 AM and should all be checked in no later than 10:30 AM when judging will begin. Registration is available for 200 vehicles and approximately 40 vehicles will be awarded with prizes. The show will also feature food trucks, vendors, raffles, and presentations and end at 2 PM. Cost to participate as a 'registered car' in this event is $20 per vehicle (plus tax) and all proceeds will be broken up between three local charities that focus on providing mental health and resiliency services to the Chatham County community. Vendors such as clubs, counselors, educational services, fitness centers, mental and behavioral health providers, visual and performing arts, and much more will be on site to provide attendees with an array of information regarding local resources.
