Tuesday Night Live: Grams and Krieger Presented by Rhythm & Roots ALL AGES Rhythm & Roots presents Grams & Krieger for this evening's Tuesday Night Live! Grams and Krieger Inducted Arizona Blues Hall of Fame members DANNY KRIEGER (1999) on guitar & slide guitar and STEVE GRAMS (2000) on acoustic & electric bass have been writing and performing acoustically as a duo for 20+ years. The duo was recently voted into ABHOF as a duo by ABHOF members. Andrew “Junior Boy” Jones terms them “Two of the most talented people on Earth” and from the Dutch Blues blog ‘Nothing But’ - “One of the best kept secrets of today’s music scene.” GRAMS & KRIEGER (G&K) have produced six CDs of mostly original music: “The Fluffingtons” 2000, “Two Days” 2001, “That’s the Way We Work” featuring Holland’s MR. BOOGIE WOOGIE 2003, “No You” 2005 on LA indy label VITALEGACY, “5” 2012, “The Best?” 2014, and “The New and Improved 5” 2016 featuring the late JOHN “JUKE” LOGAN on harmonica. From 2001-2011 G&K toured and performed in Holland at least twice a year. They have performed at the Silver City Blues Festival, the Ruidoso Blues Festival, the St. Peter MN Blues Festival, the Rockbend Folk Festival in St. Peter MN, countless times at the Tucson Blues Festival, the Bisbee Blues Festival, and the Northern Arizona Acoustic Blues Festival in Flagstaff, to name a few. Their Dutch tours include the Blues on the River Cruise Rotterdam (twice, including the 10th anniversary), the Zandam Jazz Festival, Blues and Boogie Night Theater Show in Aalsmeer three times, the Three Rivers Rhythm & Blues Festival in Dordrecht twice, and just about every Blues venue in Holland. They may be old and have faces made for radio but they can still play!
