Join us for the first in-person SBAR! In honor of National SBIR Week, we’re celebrating with a special Science Venture Studio happy hour! Join us for our fourth SBAR, a happy hour with the Science Venture Studio (SVS) team to learn more about SBIR/STTRs, the funding opportunities available through SBIR/STTR and hear some early success stories! This will be the first in-person SBAR since the program launched, and we are excited to see you as we celebrate National SBIR Week! The event will feature science and technology law expert Angela Grayson, founder and principal of Precipice IP. Angela will be speaking on ways to develop an IP strategy pre and/or post receiving an SBIR/STTR award. We will also have a Q&A on IP development and SBIR/STTR programs. We’ll also hear from a recent recipient of an SBIR/STTR funding. And did we mention beer? What’s a happy hour without cold drinks? Beer, wine and hor’dourves will be served. This event will take place at Fairlane Station in downtown Springdale, just off of Emma Street at 108 Graham. This is an in-person event. About Angela Grayson: Angela J. Grayson, CIPP/US, CLP is an accomplished nationally recognized lawyer, speaker, and author. Angela is the Founder of Precipice IP PLLC, an award-winning consultancy and intellectual property law boutique specializing in patent, trademark, copyright, and data law. About Science Venture Studio: Science Venture Studio (SVS) launched in June 2020 as a collaboration of Startup Junkie Foundation, Innovate Arkansas, the Northwest Arkansas Council and the University of Arkansas with the goal of helping Arkansas science- and technology-based startups apply for and obtain federal grant funding. SBAR is SVS’s branded happy hour series intended to bring together communities of science and technology innovators.
