NAUGATUCK, CT — A third suspect has been arrested on charges of robbery, home invasion, larceny and related violations in connection with the May 2020 home invasion and robbery at a home on Horton Hill Road in Naugatuck, according to police. Naugatuck resident Leequaje J. Jackson-Brown, 23, was extradited from Georgia this week and arrested on a warrant by Naugatuck police. Jackson-Brown and fellow suspects Nasir Omari Blow, 22, and Jacarri Pettway, 20, are accused of forcing their way into a Horton Hill Road home at gunpoint on May 25, 2020, and stealing $14,000 in cash and personal items from the three women inside. No injuries were reported in the home invasion. Blow and Pettway were arrested the same day in Bridgeport, where they both live, while Jackson-Brown escaped. Eventually, he was apprehended in Georgia and extradited back to Connecticut. Warrants were issued for a fourth suspect, Khalil Abdul-Hakeem, 22, soon after the home invasion, but he was killed in a West Haven shooting last July. Jackson-Brown was arraiged in Waterbury Superior Court on Wednesday, and he is expected back in court at a later date.
