IGNITE! Alabama Inaugural Golf Tournament Fundraiser IGNITE! is a holistic and supportive ecosystem that educates and bridges communication gaps between organizations, service providers, and minorities, especially African Americans and Females, within the State of Alabama. Undisputedly, pre-COVID, IGNITE!s Coalition Member Agencies, as well as other service providers have done a stellar job in providing technical assistance to the small business community. However, now that COVID-19 has drastically shifted life as we have known it; many Minority Small Business Owners, Entrepreneurs, and Nonprofit Leaders, are consumed with extreme concern, depression, frustration, and sometimes even despair. But there is good news! Thanks to a seed grant from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, IGNITE! has officially launched the “Doing Business in Alabama” (DBIA) Minority Business Training Pilot Project, a five (5) year project designed to ensure that Alabama Minority Business Owners, Entrepreneurs, and Nonprofit Leaders have a clear understanding of and receive access to, funding opportunities, resources, and technical assistance needed to competitively compete, succeed, and excel! DBIA Pilot Project key elements include a Forensic Financial Analysis, Individualized Business Action Plan, Intensive Supportive Services and Technical Assistance, Legal Services, Finance, Business, Marketing, and Communication Coaches.
