APPLY IN PERSON - MONDAY TO FRIDAY FROM 8:30 AM TO 3:30 PM Position Purpose The Sorter is responsible for removing defect from the product stream to ensure that product meets or exceeds customer specifications. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Sort out almond defects as directed by the Supervisor or lead • Maintain sorting area clean and organized • Complete assigned sanitation tasks bi-weekly or as necessary • Follow all color codes related to product disposition and cleaning tools • Rotate between lines and positions as scheduled by the Supervisor • Follows and ensures adherence to established Hilltop Ranch, Inc.. local, state, and federal regulations and requirements as well as food safety, sanitation, food production and nutritional guidelines. • Establishes and ensures adherence to procedures and standards, which are in agreement with these regulations, requirements and guidelines. • Ability to follow, comply and enforce all safety policies and procedures • Responsibilities are not limited to the above mentioned and may include assisting other departments within reasonable and related tasks.
