Darien Man Charged With Domestic Battery: Cops

DARIEN, IL – In recent days, Darien police handled cases involving domestic battery, DUI and driving violations. Here is information from the reports: Domestic battery Benedicto Maldonado, 27, of Darien, was arrested about 8 p.m. June 15 on a warrant charging domestic battery. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. DUI Kyle Young, 32, of Lockport, was arrested about 5:30 p.m. June 14 in the 1700 block of Plainfield Road on a warrant charging aggravated DUI. He posted a $30,000 bond. He was released and given a date to appear in court. Unlawful use of weapon Erwin Henry, 43, of Petersburg, was arrested about 2 p.m. Friday at Plainfield Road and 75th Street on charges of unlawful use of weapons by a felon and possession of marijuana by a driver. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. Officers found him passed out in his car. Driving violations Rishabh Mistry, 21, of Willowbrook, was cited about 7 p.m. June 14 on Clarendon Hills Road on charges of driving with a suspended license and speeding. He was speeding 48 mph in a 30 mph zone. He was arrested on a DuPage County warrant. He was released and given a date to appear in court. Luis Arteaga, 47, of Bolingbrook, was cited June 16 on Plainfield Road on charges of driving with a suspended license and no valid registration. He was released and given a date to appear in court. Aaron Wordlaw, 31, of Chicago, was cited about 1 a.m. June 16 in the 900 block of 67th Street on charges of driving with a suspended license and no front license plate. He was released and given a date to appear in court. Glen Williams, 25, of Willowbrook, was arrested June 17 in the 8100 block of Cass Avenue on charges of no valid driver's license and speeding. He was speeding 58 mph in a 40 mph zone. He was released and given a date to appear in court. Ivan Minieiev, 35, of Prospect Heights, was cited June 19 in the 1400 block of Bailey Road on charges of driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured vehicle and speeding. He was released and given a date to appear in court. He was speeding 41 in a 25 mph zone. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt.
