Description
GLENDORA, CA — City officials want to hear residents' thoughts on parking in alleys during a special community meeting Tuesday.
The meeting was prompted in part over concerns about cars blocking access for emergency vehicles and preventing waste collectors from emptying bins, officials said in a statement. The meeting will be held Tuesday at 5 p.m. via Zoom.
Officials will provide an overview of alleys in Glendora and what the legality is of parking in them as well as possible alternatives. The meeting will also go over what the petition process is for community members who want the city's current parking laws to change, according to the statement.
Guest speakers during the meeting include Mayor Karen Davis, City Manager Adam Raymond and Glendora Police Department Chief Matt Egan.
Community members who wish to attend the meeting can do so by visiting cityofglendora.org/zoom.
