ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Whether or not the Chicago Bears eventually leave the city and head to the suburbs, speculation on the team's future has reached a feverish pitch. Last week, the NFL franchise submitted a bid to buy Arlington International Racecourse. While the Bears currently have a lease to play at Soldier Field through 2033, President and CEO Ted Phillips said about a potential move to Arlington Heights, "It's our obligation to explore every possible option to ensure we're doing what's best for our organization and its future.
