COLUMBUS, OH — Two Ohio grocery store chains are partnering with DoorDash to get more people vaccinated.
Kroger and Giant Eagle are working with the meal delivery service to offer $25 DoorDash gift cards to anyone vaccinated at selected grocery stores between June 25 and June 30. The program was announced after Ohio's Vax-a-Million lottery giveaway ended Wednesday evening.

New cases of COVID-19 are on the decline, but approximately 100 Ohioans are still dying from virus complications per week. Deaths are being recorded in increasingly younger Ohioans. During the state's winter surge, most COVID-19 deaths were among people 80 and older. Now, deaths are increasingly being recorded among Ohioans between the ages of 40 and 79.
