30 year old guitarist looking to put together an original band in the vein of 70s/80s hard rock and metal bands such as Van Halen, Bon Jovi, Dokken, Firehouse, Kiss, Etc… I have about 10 originals that are about 60%-80% done and looking to finish in a band setting. Main focus is finding a singer who can sing in that style, has good stage presence, etc… then will look to fill out the rest of the pieces. Main focus would be finishing the songs, recording, and eventually playing out with the goal of being able to open up for acts that come through town. Prefer people between 20-50 but not a deal breaker if the fit is right. Have a full time job and then some, but definitely want to take this seriously.
