Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 06/23/2021 211741664 Preliminary information:  On June 23, 2021, at around 5:52 p.m., officers were dispatched to a person shot call at 509 Boulevard NE.  Upon arrival, officers located a male at the location deceased from multiple gunshot wounds. Preliminary investigation indicates this was not random, and the decedent may have been targeted.  Homicide Investigators were notified and will be working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.  The investigation continues.    Please keep in mind the above information is preliminary in nature and can change as the investigation progresses and new information comes to light.
