At the highest level this position supports the Headwaters (HW) Safety Above All Culture and manages specific day-to-day operations and safety compliance. Key Responsibilities: Assists the Facilities Supervisor in ensuring the day-to-day facility operations run smoothly. Responsible for general cleanliness of the facility that includes landscape maintenance, waste disposal, and industrial cleaning methods. Maintains vital equipment and machinery (HVAC system, refrigeration unit, odor mitigation system). Ensures all safety and emergency equipment is in stock and operational. Receives deliveries and other large shipments. Adheres to the facility maintenance schedule. Assists the Facilities Supervisor with supply management. Other duties as assigned. The candidate must have: Ability to prioritize projects. Ability to adhere to deadlines. Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with various audiences Must be 21 years of age or older. Able to communicate and partner effectively with all levels of the organization. The Ideal Candidate: Driven, motivated and passionate about life inside and outside of work. Focused on creating solutions, growth and systems in a startup environment. Able to creatively problem solve and remain calm under challenging conditions. Has experience operating various commercial and tractor vehicles. Possesses forklift operator certification. Experience with first aid application. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
