**THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN SOUTH NAKNEK, ALASKA; A SEMI-REMOTE VILLAGE IN THE HEART OF BRISTOL BAY, HOME TO THE LARGEST SALMON RUN IN THE WORLD** Small Water Transport/Construction Company seeking an immediate hire for a competent, hard working individual that has good administrative skills, is not afraid to learn how to operate heavy equipment or be in close quarters such as on marine vessels or small planes. We work long hours and the type of work/hours vary from day to day plus the work can be physically challenging so this role rarely becomes mundane. This position is located in a semi-remote Alaskan village majority of the time, seasonally during spring-summer months, and travel is required during the winter months. Successful candidate must be/have: good memory; good computer skills; be in good physical health as this position is strenuous; a willingness to learn; self-starter; motivated; be able to keep track of appointments, calls, and meetings; and have good customer relation skills. Applicant must have a valid, insurable driver's license with no DUI's on their record; a passport would be nice but not necessary. No drugs or heavy drinking allowed. We provide room and board; however, we have no facilities to house children, pets, significant others and/or families. Because of this, an unattached individual would be a perfect fit for this position. One-way airfare is included from Anchorage, Alaska to South Naknek, Alaska. 30-day probationary period.
