We need to rehome our 1yo purebred Akita. He is AKC registered. He is a very sweet dog and great with kids (we have 2 under 4 that he's incredible gentle with) but needs to be the center of attention at all times. He clearly isn't happy in our home and has been showing it. He has been through training but is stubborn. He is not aggressive but is also not a beginners dog and has some weird quirks.
