Rehoming Senior Chihuahua

hi everyone! so this is trooper, he's a chihuahua and he's roughly seven years old but he is also a rescue so i don't know when his exact birthday is but we do celebrate it for him on january 5th. he's a massive sweetheart, loves his tummy tubs, and will just melt onto your lap the second you pet him. he also adores being outside and is also very vocal in all forms of barks, growls, or something that might sound like screaming but i promise he's just really excited. he's on a steady diet of purina cheeseburger flavored dog food, the moist kind, and prefers softer food as he is missing two teeth but his groomer has said that he just needs brushing every so often but is otherwise perfectly okay. he doesn't mind children but he will growl or nip if he feels threatened by them, especially if they're fast or loud, and also doesn't seem to like men very much. he's pretty good with other dogs but i've never had him around one that weighs more than 15-20 lbs and i've never exposed him to cat. in all honesty, he is very much so a grumpy old man most of the time and will probably just sleep on you or near you and while he is intact, he is up to date on his shots. now, i would prefer for you to be retired or someone who works from home. he needs someone who can devote their time to him and give him all the love he needs - and he needs a lot. i also want him to have a fenced yard because he loves it so much outside and will go potty outside without needing to be reminded or pushed. there is a small negotiable rehoming fee and he will come with a pretty cute wardrobe of his clothing, even though he probably doesn't need it because he is a long hair. feel free to ask any questions you might have! :)
