Position Summary: The General Laborer is responsible for performing a variety of tasks at to assist crews with the preparation and construction of walls and structures. Essential Job Responsibilities: • Stocking block, bricks, and/or stone on both residential and commercial job sites. • Clean footings, tools, and equipment. • Tie rebar. • Dig holes, ditches, trenches. • Mix cement and/or mortar. • Pull and use grout hoses. • Set up and clean job sites including picking up pallets and disposing of broken material. • Use and operate small power and hand tools. • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Foreman. Experience, Educational, and Additional Requirements: • Must be a safe and hard worker. • Must be willing to work on both residential and commercial job sites. • Must be willing to work on scaffold. • Must be able to work a fast pace and remain calm under pressure. • Must have transportation to move from job to job throughout the day. • Must provide own tape measure and know how to read measurements. • Must be able to lift 90lb. • OSHA10 card required. • Must be able to safely work in hot and cold temperatures on Construction job sites. • Bilingual in both English and Spanish preferred. • Pass a mandatory employment drug test required.
