Renovated industrial mills in Easthampton seeking part time, regular custodian and maintenance person. Part-Time 20-30 hours per week Days and start time are flexible $18 per hour starting Primary duties: Clean bathrooms and common areas Replace paper goods and soaps as needed Clean/empty all common area and bathroom trash receptacles Collect tenant trash and dispose of in onsite dumpsters Sort recycling and dispose of properly Police up exterior perimeter trash/debris Identify and report potential issues or hazards Monitor any ongoing conditions Cleaning may require, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, the use of a mechanical floor buffer/scrubber Landscape upkeep - mowing, trimming and some weeding Other tasks: Some overhead work (such as replacing light bulbs) Minor repairs Errands Receive shipments from loading docks or deliveries Interact with public and tenants Applicants must have the following qualifications: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation A smart phone Some flexible availability for weekends and/or overtime (early or late) Familiarity with common hand and power tools Comfortable working on ladders or lifts when required Previous experience with similar work preferred Opportunity for $40/hour in-house seasonal snow removal (our gear) for applicants with experience Physically capable of meeting job requirements Able to lift up to 50lbs Clear a background check Please attach resume Initial contact by email only please We must ask that applicants refrain from unscheduled appearances.
