We have a rescue farm in North Branch and we take in last minute saves from the kill pen. Sansa "Sannie" came to us because she spent her whole life making babies for someone and then they ditched her when she no longer served them a purpose. She is super sweet, 16-17 years, she is about 15.1 hands, and she's looking for her forever home. Because she has been off making babies for quite a while, she would be best as a pasture pet or with someone that wants to work with her. They did ride her at the kill pen but says she would definitely need a refresher. To be considered, you must be able to provide adequate shelter, food, hay, farrier care, and future vet care.
