Located in beautiful and vibrant Austin, TX, Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church is an inclusive, dynamic, thriving community of faith with a heart for service and mission. We seek a self-starting, adaptive part time Campus Maintenance Superintendent to join our motivated team of staff members who are committed to furthering our mission as a church that seeks to live and serve beyond its four walls. This person should have a minimum of 3 years experience skilled in performing general preventive and light maintenance/cleaning tasks and ensure HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, gas and electrical fixtures are in proper working order. Also required is the ability to set up tables and chairs and other event items requiring the ability to lift at least 50lbs. Coordination of facility needs with facility schedules including thermostat programming along with performing regular premises inspections for repair/maintenance items is required. Current driver license and ability to pick up supplies is required. The ability to work around a child environment and maintain safety is a must. Diverse skills in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical are a plus. Flexible work hours including Sunday mornings is a plus but a minimum of 9am to 1pm during school session (up to 28 hours per week) is required.
