WHO/WHAT/WHERE VendPro Refreshment Services is a vending and food service company seeking a full time Warehouse Picker. Our newly opened Carrollton, Texas facility is located only one block from a DART railway station making it an easy commute to many areas of Dallas. This position is responsible for sorting and picking various food and beverage products into bins and containers and loading onto delivery trucks. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Must be able to read orders printed in English Must pass a background check including criminal history and drug screen post-offer of employment Must be legally authorized to work in U.S. Previous warehouse or order picking/packing experience is a plus JOB DUTIES Pull requisitions for individual clients to locate and pick a wide variety of vending machine inventory items from shelves, and then place and arrange those items in containers and bins following specific instructions Check inventory for damage and expiration dates prior to packing Confirm correct items and quantities have been selected so outbound loads are defect-free Label bins and containers with client’s information so Route Drivers can easily pull the needed containers at each stop Operate minor material handling equipment such as hand-trucks, carts, and pallet jacks to facilitate movement of inventory throughout warehouse Load bins and containers onto delivery trucks and arrange in an organized manner Conduct physical inventories of product and report quantity variances or shortages to management Ensure work areas are kept clean, neat, and well-organized Comply with OSHA and other safety regulations while performing above job duties Other related minor tasks as needed or requested by management PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Position is fairly physically intensive requiring an individual with stamina to withstand long hours on their feet while standing or moving Should be physically agile and dexterous due to constant reaching up and bending over to retrieve items Regularly lifts 25 to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day while sorting and stacking products Work in warehouse setting that is not temperature-controlled COMPENSATION $10.00/hour SHIFT HOURS Sunday - Thursday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm HOW TO APPLY Email resume, or Apply in person between Mon-Fri, 10:00am - 4:00pm at 1408 Vinylex Dr, Carrollton, TX 75006
