We are Andrena, a wireless Internet service provider in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. We’re a startup with a small team and we’re looking for someone to join this entry level position who is ready to learn and comfortable interacting with customers. The majority of the work will be visiting customers and assisting them with any issues. In addition, this role will contribute to our field service team installing wireless Internet systems. Job duties include interacting with customers, troubleshooting existing systems, and installing networking related equipment. This role is a remote position and will involve daily reimbursed travel in the New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania area. You will work both independently and as a part of a team and you’ll have the opportunity to learn from veterans in the industry who will train and guide you. The most important parts of this role are a willingness to learn as well as a friendly and patient attitude. We are looking for someone who is eager, excited about the opportunity to interact with our customers, and willing to take on more responsibility as the role continues to evolve. Job responsibilities: Patient and comfortable interacting with strangers Comfortable working with their hands Comfortable working alone Install networking equipment under guidance Install wireless antennas and radios Pull, route, and label CAT5 or CAT6 cable Install support structures for cabling and wireless equipment Has a car to drive themselves to customers and sites (travel reimbursement will be provided) Preferred: Cabling and data wiring experience Preferred: Spanish speaking
