FreshPro Food Distributors, a leading distributor of conventional produce, organics, and fresh cut products to supermarkets and food service institutions up and down the east coast. We seek Food Processors, West Caldwell, NJ. Main Function: Processes fruits and vegetables as directed while maintaining processing standards of quality and safety. This includes but is not limited to: preps produce and makes ready for processing; sets up work station, which includes table and scale set-up. Essential Skills and Experience: • Able to use knives and sharp equipment in a safe manner. • Able to follow directions and routines accurately. • Tolerance of cool/cold temperatures. • Able to stand for very long periods of time, up to 8 hours per day. • Food preparation experience is helpful Physical Demands: Walking, standing for extended periods of time, bending, stooping and lifting up to 25 pounds. Working Conditions: Warehouse environment with damp, concrete floor; refrigerated temperatures. Hours are from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm with overtime as needed. $12.00 p/h FreshPro Food offers competitive benefits that include medical, dental, 401(k) and Paid Vacation.
