Full Job Description MESSENGER JOB DESCRIPTION Preview A messenger is a person who makes deliveries between business and residential locations and may travel by foot or public transportation. They may transport different items such as but not limited to documents, small boxes, food products, medical tests and other items RESPONSIBILITIES A messenger must be responsible, independent and very punctual. They are given a daily assignment and are expected to carry it out. REQUIRED SKILLS They must be familiar with the geographic area of NYC and be able to maneuver through heavy urban congestion. They must be familiar with the trains routes and streets of Manhattan and outer boroughs They must be in general good health as there is a lot of fast walking They must be able to carry up to 20lbs They must want to work and be a messenger in NYC QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or Equivalent Happy, Friendly, Articulate and Confident COMPENSATION Referral Program Uniforms Provided Vacation days up to 5 per year LOCATION/DAYS NYC % Boroughs Full & Part time Available 5 days per week Flexible Schedules Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $15.00 per hour
