But I never pursued it further than just mild interest. I always thought it would not fit my personality. Or maybe fit in with my lifestyle. During the school years, I’m pretty busy. Either with homework, or work, or friends. As a history major, I had thought being able to recreate the garments I always read about or see would be something cool, and a way to immerse myself. Also, making some of my own clothes sounded super fun. Once we opened the Boulder store, however, I was finally able to explore and learn! I’ve only been learning how to sew for 2 or so months now. I like to think I’m getting better the more I go. Skills: I know how to sew masks rather fast and without many issues. Its definitely a learning curve. Practice really does make perfect! I also am slowly becoming proficient and faster at making tote bags! I really hope to expand my reach further as the months go on, however. There’s a lot to learn. Classes taught: I’ll be teaching the mask making class. Ill also be doing how to make tote bags! I’m excited to sew with everyone.
