Mariposa’s First Wednesday will be a community potluck! RSVP to let us know you're coming and if you're bringing a dish to share! Mariposa To Host Potluck on First Wednesday, July 7, at 6 pm In the past three years, MARIPOSA, the Althea Center’s LGBTQ program, has not planned any activities in July. This year, however, since we have not had a social/food component to our programming since March 4, 2020, we are hosting a POTLUCK in the Althea dining room on our normal First Wednesday, July 7 — bring your potluck dish at 6:00pm and stay to socialize until 8:00pm. We ask that everyone who wants to attend register at this link (by Mon., July 5), so we can get a sense of what kinds of dishes are being prepared by participants — and determine if we need to augment the selections. Mariposa will provide some canned flavored waters; feel free to bring your own favorite drinks, too, but in recognition and support of those in recovery, please: No Alcoholic Beverages. We also have good filtered drinking water in the dining room.
