Join us for a cooking demonstration on modern indigenous food!
Come join us as Rachel Sayet, Mohegan educator and anthropologist, leads a cooking demonstration on modern indigenous food in the New England area. She previously worked at the Mohegan tribe’s cultural department for 8 years, where she developed food sovereignty initiatives and hosted discussions around Native foodways and preserving traditional knowledge around seasonal eating, harvesting, growing, and fishing practices.
