Intro to brush calligraphy Calligrapher Amy Owens will demonstrate the art of brush lettering while you follow along with your own brush pen. You’ll leave with your own set of handwritten cheese flags for your next charcuterie board! Amy will teach you the proper way to hold the brush pen and how to achieve the characteristic thin and thick lines with several basic strokes. She will demonstrate the lowercase letters of a beautiful modern calligraphy alphabet. No experience is required. Right AND left handed participants are welcome! Ticket price includes a cheese box, a brush marker, and handouts - everything you need to begin learning this beautiful art. Bottles of wine can be purchased at the shop during the event.
