Description

Group Stitch Workshop Part II. Embroiderers will work together on a linen table cloth. Meeting at Graham. The 100% fine linen stamped table cloth will be a group project for the Frontier Womens Living History Association. When completed it will be donated to the association and for their use at events. This Saturday workshop is the second of at least three planned events so far. It will require a pretty good skill level and knowledge of outline stitches, long and short stitch, button hole stitch, and satin stitches. All skill levels are welcome, we will have a warm up practice for anyone with rustic stitching abilities to get you caught up. There will be room for about six embroiderers working at one time. We will take tea breaks, a lunch break, and switch out if there are more embroiderers ready to stitch. You can also work on your napkins or bring your own project. Supplies you need to bring will be your embroidery hoop, scissors, and snacks. There is a one time fee of $8 to cover supplies. If you already attended the other workshop at Ft Griffin, or plan to attend multiple workshops at Graham and Ft Concho you will not be charged again.
