Channeling divine intervention for our incarcerated loved ones & their supporters through intentional yoga poses & a mass meditation circle. First off, you aligned to this event for a reason. Second, continue to read. I know for a fact that you or someone that you know has a parent, a family member or friend incarcerated. Or has had a loved one incarcerated in the past. I know me personally can relate because my brother and I have a dad in prison now..since 1999. Innocent & Political prisoner, Leon Benson, has been incarcerated in Indiana for 23 yrs. He has filed a Petition of Clemency, seeking compassionate immediate release. In 1999 Leon Benson was sentenced to 60 yrs (execute 30) for the crime of murder. Of which, he has maintained his absolute innocence despite Indiana Justice system refusal to grant him justice in its Appeal Courts. The first ever Yoga & BBQ in Solidarity event seeks to channel powerful healing & empowerment through intentional yoga poses for our supporters & soldiers of loved ones incarcerated, like my dad Leon Benson. Next, we seek to align divine intervention to the decisions being made for the fate of our incarcerated loved ones by doing a mass meditation circle; like the decision being made if my dad gets granted clemency or not. Personally I know that the struggle is real and desire to create a powerful synergy of like-minded individuals who have a genuine interest in the livelihoods of incarcerated individuals and their families aka Solidiers on the frontline.
