Folk Group playing popular 60's Music, sing along or enjoy the wonderful sounds of Mary Lutton and Friends The Ocean County Artists Guild is happy to present our next concert in our 2021 series. Concert will be at 22 Chestnut Avenue, Island Heights, NJ on July 25th from 3:30-5:00 PM There will only be 25 tickets issued for this INDOOR concert. Enjoy the music and refreshments (wine or non-alcoholic beverage and snacks will be served) We ask for a small donation (at the door) of $10 per person to support the musicians. Mary Lutton recorded with folk group in 60's for Warner Bros Reprise label, (performed at The Blue Angel, Gerde's Folk City, the Bitter End, East Coast venues;); Represented Pennsylvania in 1960 with All American Chorus touring Europe under Eisenhower's "People to People" program. Mary has done solo concerts for the Ocean Country Library system, Toms River and Island Heights branches; was teacher of the year (music teacher, choral director) twice in Toms River School system, 1992 and 2000; has performed at Albert Hall in Waretown, and various venues in the central Jersey area. Mary plays guitar, piano, flute, harmonica, auto harp OCAG is her favorite venue to perform in - love the audiences that come to all the concerts. Mary has independently released seven full length cds from 2006 to 1015. (any CDs purchased at OCAG, $ goes to the Guild) Bill Doerge is a song interpreter, plays Upright and Electric Bass, Guitar, Keyboards and Accordion. He performs with acclaimed songwriter, Bob Wright from Staten Island in his group 'Bob Wright and Harbortown'. Bill also plays bass in the Bad Dogz bluegrass band and freelances. He is a member of Folk Alliance International, International Society of Bassists, and Musicians on a Mission. Barbara Paskin is a performing acoustic singer/songwriter who was born and bred at the Jersey Shore. She is well known at local venues for her accomplished guitar skills and lovely voice. Her genre is a mixture of Folk, Country and Blues. An accomplished musician, she’s right at home singing the folk, blues, country ,or standards. Regardless the song, Barbara always puts her own mark on everything she plays and can be seen performing all around the Jersey Shore area. Barbara has a passion for giving back and performs at many events that support a good cause. She is a member of the board of directors of “Musicians on a Mission”, an organization that creates connections and inspires giving through music. Barbara was a school counselor at Asbury Park High School for many years servicing students and their families in the community.
