Concert to raise money to help send a young lady with disabilities to participate in the national Miss Amazing pageant in Nashville. The Miss Amazing organization is a national self-esteem movement led for and by girls and women with disabilities. Girls and women with disabilities face a unique set of economic, social, and political challenges that include alarming rates of poverty, unemployment, sexual assault, and depression. For these reasons, it is all the more important that girls with disabilities are encouraged from a young age to take pride in who they are, to set ambitious goals, and to fight for the respect that they deserve.
