The sweetest event in South Texas, Dessert First, benefitting over 3,000 girls & adult members in Edinburg will be held Friday, August 13th. Dessert First will challenge chefs from all across the Rio Grande Valley to create desserts featuring famous Girl Scout Cookies. Desserts will be judged by a panel of special celebrity judges naming Best Dessert winner; and all guests will name the People's Choice winner. In addition, local Girl Scouts will be sharing their amazing stories with you about the importance of Girl Scouting. Treat your tastebuds to dessert tasting and enjoy Girl Scout cookie inspired desserts prepared by amazing chefs representing restaurants from all over the Rio Grande Valley!
