Burke Substance Abuse Network Presents...Part One is a fun and exciting day of learning and experiencing the motivational impact of Stephen Hill, a nationally renowned speaker who shares his story of recovery and beyond. Stephen's father will also be joining us to share his perspective and experiences and offer another viewpoint of the dangers and emotional heartaches associated with addiction. Part Two is all about exploring the hidden dangers of substance use in our kids. Experience the realities of a teenage boy's room and use your best investigative skills to discover potential dangers lurking in plain sight. Through our simulation series, you will learn the truth behind the secrets our kids may be keeping - this knowledge could even save a life. *Breakfast, refreshments and free giveaways will be available for all registered attendees. Burke Recovery is a local nonprofit agency offering substance use treatment and prevention for adults and adolescents.  Our mission is to provide these services to all residents regardless of their ability to pay.  Burke Recovery operates multiple programs including the Flynn Recovery Community, BRIDGE - a transitional recovery support system, and Drug-Free Burke which focuses on community-wide awareness and prevention.  In addition, Burke Recovery serves as the fiscal agent for the Burke Substance Abuse Network, a county-wide coalition devoted to addressing the substance use epidemic in the community where we all live, work, play, learn and pray.
