Where there's smoke, there's BBQ! Bring your recipe and your cooker-of-choice to compete for $3,500 in cash - and trophies! Do you have what it takes to win at the 6th annual Frisco Inferno BBQ Competition? Bring your cooker and your secret recipes to Downtown Rogers on September 24-25 to compete in the tastiest contest in Rogers! $3,500 in cold, hard cash and the coveted trophies will be awarded for the top three teams in the "People's Choice" and the "Judges' Choice" categories. This is the official barbecue competition of the internationally-famous Bikes Blues & BBQ motorcycle rally, and will be one of the many activities planned as part of the Downtown Rogers Bikes on the Bricks festival. Register your 4-person BBQ team for $200, and we'll provide you with meat to cook on site using your choice of cooking style and fire source. Then we'll open the tasting (and judging) from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, 9/25. The People’s Choice Award Ticketholders will decide the winners of The People’s Choice Award. After tasting our competition’s fare, satisfied BBQ eaters will award their ticket to the team they feel represents the “spirit” of what this great competition is all about. Top three teams will win big! The Judges' Choice Award Five individual non-partisan judges will sample the participant’s fare and determine who has cooked the best-tasting smoked meat.
