Demystifying the process of making and learning! Calling all makers, creators and social change agents for a night of epic proportions! Make It Mythical supports Assemble’s mission of creating collaborative communities, sharing knowledge, and demystifying the creative process. Assemble programs serve over 2,500 students, many of which live within walking distance of the Penn Ave studio space. The evening event promotes Assemble’s mission of lifelong learning and shared knowledge for learners of all ages. Be transported to a mythical place to mix and mingle with some of Pittsburgh's top craftspeople, makers, and social change agents. MakerDate is Assemble’s semi-annual fundraising event that brings together the best of Pittsburgh’s craftspeople, makers, and technologists in traditional date auction-style. MakerDate 2021 features live and silent auctions, mystical activities, fantastical performances, and more! ABOUT MAKERDATE All funds raised from MakerDate 2021 will support Assemble's goal of providing free STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) educational programs such as afterschool and summer camps for learners of all ages.
