Indirect Tax Analyst Get Inspired by the Work You’ll Do Responsible for preparation of the financial statement income tax entries, all tax returns and related audits, tax research and tax planningPerform complex tax calculations and gather accounting information for compliance procedures related to global indirect taxesResearch transaction tax issues and provide guidance based on research of transaction tax laws and regulationsPrepare backup documentation required for domestic and global tax filings and provide/review complex filings with firms and internal management teamPrepare information used in tax audits and assist with meeting all required deadlinesPrepare data required for Unclaimed Property compliance and provide to firms for required processes in timely mannerHandle all inbound and outbound calls from internal personnel and customers with professional tax adviceResponsible for manual decision making process of release of orders with tax logicReview proposals for tax implications and recommend actions to management team which meet business plans while limiting tax liability Your passion is sparked by: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance plus 3+ years of hands-on experience with transactional taxSolid accounting skills and basic general ledger experience plus familiarity with Accounting for Income Tax requiredUS sales/use tax experience related to compliance and tax planningGoods and Services Tax (GST) experience preferredFirm understanding of tax laws that affect the companyDemonstrated background adhering to standard procedures/practices with proven experience exercising judgment and determining appropriate actions within those defined procedures/practicesProven ability to self-manage/prioritize strict deadlines and ability to work on problems of moderate scopeStrong oral and written communications skills with a track record of building productive internal/external working relationshipsAdvanced MS Office skills, specifically Excel and WordWe have great Perks - Every Day is Casual Day • Three weeks’ vacation • Company Discounts • Community Involvement Opportunities • Discretionary Profit Sharing • Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance • 401k with matching opportunities • FSA & HSA • Paid Vacation, Holiday & Sick Days • Employee Stock Purchase Plan • Tuition Reimbursement • Live Well Work Well Program • Annual Commission for Incentive based roles based on achievements • Growth Opportunities • And More Be Inspired In Your Career.
