TOMS RIVER, NJ — The Toms River Regional Schools have pushed back the start of Tuesday's graduation ceremonies to 7:30 p.m. as rain fell in the area.
The district said a decision on postponing graduation would be made at 6:30 p.m.
They originally had been set for the middle of the afternoon, but with Tuesday's rainy forecast, district officials pushed the start time to the evening in hopes the storm will pass by then.
If the rain continues, the graduations will be moved to 10 a.m. Wednesday, officials said.
Accuweather radar shows one set of clouds and rain moving out shortly but a second set of storms right behind it.
