Remodel and new construction carpenter wanted for part time work for family run business based in Stanwood. Work Area: 30 mile radius to Stanwood Average Work Hours: 8am to 5pm Hours: Part time with promotion to full time after trial period Pay: Depending on experience ($25-$50/hour) Preferred candidate would be well versed in the following: - Wood framing - Finish carpentry - Electrical and plumbing knowledge - Drywall repairs and texture - Cabinet/window/door installation - Interior and exterior painting - Knowledge in deck building, fencing, and siding - Basic tile install - Ability to use a variety of tools with safe operation EXPECTATIONS: - Have a minimum 3 years carpentry experience in general residential construction - Be able to work alone - Have a positive attitude - Be self-motivated - Be punctual and reliable - Take pride in their work - Have good communication skills (verbally and written) - Have *reliable transportation* - Have a valid driver’s license - Have a working smart phone - Non smoker preferred (all job sites are smoke free) - Ability to pass a background check - Own tools is a plus Please email a description of your carpentry knowledge and experience, desired compensation, and when you'd like to start along with your attached resume and work references.
