Manchester Water District seeks Service Technician’s Apprentice to assist with facilities and distribution system maintenance of a public water utility. Position will require physical labor in varying weather conditions, direct interaction with the public, and basic computer skills. No water utility experience necessary, but emphasis on mechanical aptitude and facilities maintenance experience preferred. As an apprentice, candidate will receive specialized training all aspects of water utility operations and the opportunity to build a career in the public sector. Assignment shall be a regular full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Starting wage is $19.07 / hr., with full benefit package.
