Paramount Theatre Releases July Schedule For Classic Film Series

AUSTIN, TX — Spend your summer nights in July watching classic films at the 46th annual Paramount Summer Classic Film Series. In July, the theatre will feature dozens of popular flick through August 8 with different themes: dance, 25th anniversary flicks, films from beyond, underdog flicks, 30th anniversary movies, 2001:Space Odyssey, best screenplay films and more. Some popular films to be screened this month include "Invasion of the Body Snatchers," "Jaws," "John Carpenter's The Thing," "Independence Day," "From Dusk Til Dawn," "Selena," "All The President's Men," "Moonstruck" and "Sunset Boulevard." Tickets are $14 per person or $10 for the theatre's film fan club members. People can purchase the Flix-Tix discount booklet online, which offers 10 tickets for $70 or a group of 5 for $50. Tickets are available for all films through August 8 at austintheatre.org/film, including regular admission, Film Fan admission, and bundled "Flix-Tix" discount tickets. Tickets can also be purchased by calling the Box Office at 512-474-1221. The film schedule is subject to change; any updates will be posted online and communicated with ticket buyer, officials said.
