R u a couple who works well together but can work separately? We're looking to replace a couple in their 50s who worked for us for six years but recently moved out of state. One to do house cleaning while the other does yard work/handyman type chores. We're an aging couple who just can't do what we used to do but still want our house and yard to look nice. We're easy to work for and can be generous but YOU MUST BE RELIABLE, RESPONSIBILE, TRUSTWORTHY, EXPERIENCED AND MOST OF ALL HONEST. We pay $18 an hour each to start. Then we'll see how you do. There's some variety in these jobs - one day you might be hanging pictures and watering plants and scrubbing the kitchen floor the next day. Our yard is very small but with lots of plants. A solid knowledge of plants, especially roses, would be a big plus. I'm estimating the house cleaner will work 4 to 6 hours every other week, while the handyman will need to be available 4 to 6 hours per week. I don't expect anyone to work in this wretched heat so you'll pretty much work the hours you feel you can as long as you get what we need done each week. This could be long-term for the right people.
