Summer Reading Program Kicks Off In Long Valley

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Kids between Pre-K and incoming fifth grade, sixth graders to incoming high school seniors and adults 18 and up, can each take part in Washington Township Library's summer reading program. To participate, each reader needs to be separately registered. The library has also posted its challenges on its website, along with calendars and reading logs. For kids, their challenge is to read for 15 minutes daily and try at least 10 different places or times to read, whether it's under an umbrella or to a pet, to win a prize. Teens can work on puzzles to complement what they read too. There are puzzles in the adult category as well, reviews to submit and ways later on, to read some of the other reviews from fellow adult readers.
