World Renowned Drum Corp To Perform On July 4th

By John Gibson, WNIN June 23, 2021 Drums will join fireworks at Evansville's Independence Day celebration. The Economic Improvement District says The Phantom Regiment will perform at Fireworks on the Ohio. The 165-piece regiment from Rockford, Illinois is a two-time Drum Corps International World Champion. In a release, the EID says the free thirty-minute performance will be held at Main Street and Riverside Drive – outside the WNIN studios – at 7:30 p.m. on the Fourth of July. The Phantom Regiment performance is sponsored by the Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana's Community Arts Fund. After a challenging year, the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra is looking forward to performing in front of crowds at the Victory Theater. WNIN is the NPR/PBS affiliate in Evansville, Indiana.
