OPERATOR SUMMARY Beal Manufacturing is a specialty yarn manufacturing company dedicated to crafting unique textile solutions to serve our customers. We create unique yarn blends for the Military, US Government, clothing manufacturers both global and local to NC, and a variety of special consumer uses. OPERATOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Patrol machines to keep ends running in order to maintain efficiency and customer orders. Arrange machines with the proper materials to produce first quality production. Inspect finished products for defects. Flag defected units, label finished product and place in correct areas. Maintain good housekeeping in assigned areas at all times. Be self-supervised and professional in all assigned duties. PREFERRED EDUCATION/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES High School Diploma or GED, but not required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be physically equipped to maintain an upright, walking position for a eight (8) hour shifts. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds. Must keep work area and machines clean. Wear required personal protective equipment at all times and adhered to all safety rules and procedures. Casual clothing is approved.
