CONCORD, NH — Concord police are investigating an incident where a boy was shot with a BB or pellet on Wednesday.
Concord firefighters and police were sent to Tremont Street to investigate a report of an injury around 3:15 p.m. Dispatch reported the boy, who is 4, was hit in the head and had a noticeable welt.
Firefighters checked the boy and then cleared the area.
The boy was shot by a younger man or teenager from inside of an SUV which then, left the area. The SUV was described as dark blue. There were two young men or older teenagers in the driver and passenger seats. The vehicle headed out of the area, via Crosby Street, according to dispatch.
Officers searched the North and West End areas of the city looking for the SUV but were unable to find it. Another officer heading to the call said they may have passed it while driving to Tremont Street and said it might be heading to the eastern part of the city.
The boy appeared to be OK and in good spirits after the incident.
