WEST HOMESTEAD, PA — The Pittsburgh Irish Festival, a virtual event in 2020 due to the pandemic, will be a live event this year. The festival will take place Sept. 10-12 at the Lots at Sandcastle. The festival will celebrate its 30th anniversary this year. It's designed to contribute to the cultural awareness of Irish history and tradition that exists in Pittsburgh. The event typically draws more than 20,000 people each year. Among the entertainers scheduled to perform during the event are Gaelic Storm, We Banjo 3, Screaming Orphans, The Bow Tides, Brother Angus, Colm Keegan, Rory Makem, Dennis Doyle, Bastard Bearded Irishmen, Corned Beef & Curry, Donnie Irish, The Wild Geese and more.
